GSC proposes a cross-border integration framework covering regional scenarios, spatial interfaces, offshore collection, HVAC and HVDC concepts, hybrid interconnectors, onshore reinforcement, stability, protection, flexibility, ports, supply chain, consenting interfaces, investment sequencing and PMO. GSC's realistic position is a specialist grid-integration, electrical-studies and programme-interface partner within a qualified consortium.
Background:
North Sea offshore development is not only a generation challenge. It requires coordinated spatial planning, offshore and onshore networks, cross-border rules, ports, vessels, supply chains, environmental consent, system stability and long delivery horizons. GSC should not imply ownership of national programmes or complete offshore design capability.
Vision: Support consortia and energy stakeholders in making offshore generation, transmission, onshore integration, flexibility and delivery interfaces more coherent and decision-ready.

GSC can contribute system scenarios, grid-integration and study scopes, electrical concept review, stability, protection and power-quality interfaces, storage and flexibility analysis, requirements, risk and interface management, procurement support and PMO.
Partner and Authority Scope:
Offshore geotechnical, marine, structural, cable, platform, HVDC vendor design, navigation, environmental, consenting, legal, market, port, construction, installation and certification scopes require experienced licensed consortium partners.
This initiative is a forward-looking GSC framework. It is not a completed GSC project, an adopted public programme, a system-operator decision or a funding commitment.
