Implementing of Total Quality Management

Overview

This Course Implementing TQM, This five day course has been designed specifically for the people who are involved in the business environment. A high customer demands for quality services and products have lead the development of Total Quality Management. With this approach every one in organization and its associate process is required to mutually cooperate to produce product and service that meet the needs and expectation of customers. Critically TQM is not a just guide principle but it’s a business philosophy. The course presents information on the direction the organizations has set for the future, guidelines for making the journey, and how TQM coordinators can help their top leaders achieve organizational transformation by implementing TQM. The Organizations has determined that the best path for units endeavoring to implement TQM is to follow a two part implementation process. This phase contains the start-up activities designed to assist the organization in setting the foundations of an enduring TQM system. During this phase the organization’s top leader commits to the principles of TQM, begins educating members to form the critical mass, and takes actions to implement specific mission performance improvements. Those specific actions are the subject of this course. Roles, responsibilities, and actions required to implement phase-one are described in detail.

Objectives

Upon completion of this course the TQM coordinator will be able to: 

• Describe the ORGNISATIONS two-phased approach to implementing TQM. 

• Demonstrate the ability to analyze existing organizational practices and recommend appropriate improvement actions that are based on the ORGNISATIONS recommended process management concept and the Deming philosophy.

• Describe the actions required of TQM coordinators to assist their organizations during Phase One: Process Management.
